The appointment is effective immediately. Ocasio, who previously worked as SSC’s business development manager, has over 20 years of experience in the human service and healthcare industries. In his new position, he will oversee SSC’s business development in the New York, New Jersey, and southern Connecticut markets.

He also worked as a Compliance & Development Manager at New York Beacon Inc. of Roslyn, NY, as well as a Residential Manager at Special Citizens Futures Unlimited Inc of New York, NY. Ocasio has a B.A in Human Resources from Pace University, Pleasantville, NY, and a M.A in Health Service Administration from Iona College, New Rochelle, NY.

Ocasio is a member of International Facility Management Association and the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS). He has served as chairman of the Westchester County Chapter of ASIS since 2004. He resides in Cortlandt Manor, NY.
